Paul Freathy was 26 years old, single and
lived alone in Dulcet St Mary.
He was a good man, very community spirited
and did a lot of volunteer work.
Most of which was either directly or
indirectly church related, soup kitchen, St Mary’s charity shop and the Roving
Angels.
The Roving Angels had been in existence for about two years and was
similar to the Street Angels, Street Pastors and other groups that had sprung up
all across the UK in the previous 10 or 20 years and he was asked to join when
they started up in Finchbottom and being community spirited he did.
He left the house in his uniform, worn over
several layers including Long John’s and inside the stout boots were two pairs
of socks.
As it was forecast to be minus 6 wind chill
that night I was going to need every stitch to keep warm so he donned a woollen
hat, scarf and gloves.
The Roving Angels had made a really
positive impact on crime and antisocial behaviour in Finchbottom town centre
over their first two years particularly in the general vicinity of the bars and
clubs.
They provide a calming presence on the
streets late at night in situations where a police uniform might have the
opposite effect.
In the two years since they began in the
town, Roving Angels had contributed to a 29% fall in public place violence on
the weekends.
It was a bitterly cold night at the
beginning of a long shift starting at 10pm and possibly finishing as late as
4am when it would probably be even colder.
It was an uneventful patrol which saw his
partner Owen taking the lead with him carrying the back pack full of Flip
flops, lollipops, space blankets and the first aid kit.
So after the first uneventful hour there
was an hour of coffee and chat in the council building then out again at
midnight until one.
This also proved to be rather uneventful in
fact Owen said he had never known it so quiet, they concluded it must be the
low temperature as nobody was hanging around.
On their last lap around the town centre
they did come upon a group of girls who had just spilled out of one bar and
were negotiating with the bouncers to get in another one and on the periphery
of the group was a face he recognised.
“Hello Paul” Samantha
Dornan said a little tipsy
“Hello Sam” he replied
Sam Dornan was a couple of years younger than
him, slim five foot four with long brown hair and hazel
eyes, and his ex-girlfriend, his first girlfriend in
fact.
And when he was 18 he took her virginity and
she took his.
He really loved her but while he was away at
University they drifted apart which he had always regretted because he still
loved her.
It was when she spoke to him that he
noticed a small group of lads lurking in the shadows.
“Are you on your own?” He asked, “Where’s
Bella?”
Bella was her best friend.
She nodded in response to the first
question and shrugged at the second, which he interpreted to mean they had had
a falling out.
“You make sure you get a cab home,” he told
her glancing at the group of lads
“Ok” she answered
“Have you got enough money?” he asked
“Yes Paul” she replied
“What’s it got to do with you?” a loud
mouthed girl from the main group said
“Creepy bastard”
“That’s enough of that if you want to get
in here,” the bouncer said and they all filed into the pub, Sam included, and
then the group of lads emerged from the shadows and also entered the pub.
“You know her then” Owen said as they
headed back to the office.
“Yes” he replied, “Sam Dornan, she lives in
the next village from me, Dulcet Meadow”
“Tell me more” he persisted
“Ex-Girlfriend” he replied “The one that
got away
They were mightily relieved to get back
inside at one o’clock, as they were frozen.
It took almost all the next hour to thaw
out and he was not looking forward to another shift and he was very pleased
when the Supervisor announced that they would be finishing at 3am, because it
was so cold, made worse by wintry showers, no one was hanging around to cause trouble
so his final patrol was deemed unnecessary.
With that news Owen and Paul said their
farewells and headed out towards the car park.
They were parked within a few cars of each
other and after a brief chat Owen got in his vehicle and had driven out of the
car park before Paul had even started the engine.
Once the motor had warmed up a bit and hot
air started to blow through the vents he got out and took off his coat and
fleece.
He knew from the journey over, that once
the heater got running full throttle it would be too hot with them on.
As luck would have it his route took him
past the railway station and the taxi rank and as he reached the former he
noticed Sam staggering towards the latter.
And more alarmingly just behind her was the
small bunch of lads he had seen earlier.
He pulled up just ahead of her and wound
down the window.
“Do you want a lift?” he called
“I’ve got taxi fare,” she slurred
“Look” and she waved a ten-pound note at
him.
“You’d better get in” he said
When she got in the car he noticed she was
shivering so he reached over to the back seat and grabbed his fleece
“Put that around you” he suggested
“Ok” she said, “Oooh it’s still warm”
Then he gave her his coat and put it over
her legs and lap and tucked it around her.
“No wonder you’re cold” he said “you’re
legs are wet”
“I got caught in a shower” she shivered
When he looked up the young lads were just
passing the car and they all stared in so he locked the doors.
On the journey out of Finchbottom he
garnered from Samantha that she had indeed fallen out with Bella.
It was a typically trivial reason that
caused the row, but she was supposed to be staying at Bella’s for the weekend
but after the ruck Sam stormed out and went to see another friend, Julie, who
had the bright idea of going into town.
However Julie then met her ex-boyfriend and
abandoned Sam who then tagged along with the group of Julies friends that she
didn’t really know.
It was then that she started crying, as
luck would have it they were just approaching a lay-by so he turned into the
lay-by to comfort Sam, and gave her a hug and calmed her down and as soon as he
applied the hand brake she leapt into his arms.
“Oh Paul what am I going to do?” she
sobbed, “I’ve been so stupid”
It took about 10 minutes to calm her down
enough to establish that Bella wasn’t expecting her back that night.
He hoped they would sort things out because
they had been friends since middle school.
He certainly couldn’t take her home in her
drunken state, her mum would go ballistic and he would get the blame.
“You can sleep at mine” he said “in the
spare room”
“It doesn’t have to be the spare room” she
slurred and placed her hand on his lap.
“You can stop tha...” he began but she had
passed out and her hand went limp.
He pulled up on the drive and set about
carrying the drunken Samantha into the house.
Not an easy task considering that she was
barely seven stones, but it was dead weight.
In the end he chose the fireman’s lift
technique, which was easiest once he got her out of the car, and he took her
straight up the stairs and deposited her on the spare bed.
He left her there and went back downstairs
to lock the car and secure the house before turning off the downstairs lights
and going upstairs again where he found Samantha exactly where he had left her,
so Paul then set about undressing her.
The coat and shoes came off easily enough
but everything else was anything but.
Of all the times he had stripped her naked
when they were dating he had never struggled so much to undress her.
It was much more difficult than he could
ever have imagined, he couldn’t leave her like that though because her clothes
were wet.
So he persevered and when he was tugging
her tights off he nearly pulled her straight off the bed with them.
Eventually after what seemed an eternity he
had her down to her underwear.
Her knickers had ridden up a bit and were
so high that she had a camel toe and her bra was all askew so she had one tit
in and one tit out.
So he made the minor adjustments required
and threw a duvet over her and got in his own bed and went out like a light the
moment his head hit the pillow.
It was just after eight when he awakened
when Sam crawled into bed next to him fully dressed and cuddled up close.
“I’m sorry” she whispered
“What for?” he asked
“For being a drunken bum.” she said “and
embarrassing myself”
“As long as you’ve learned a lesson,” he
said sagely
“Am I forgiven then?” she asked
“Of course” he replied “but what about
Bella?”
“I phoned her already and I’m off to
see her now to make things up”
Then she kissed him and crawled out of bed
again and she was gone and he went back to sleep.
He had a lovely restful sleep, and he was
dreaming about Sandra Bullock in her younger form riding on him and it felt so
good.
It was a lovely dream and it was so vivid
that he imagined he could feel her wetness sliding up and down on his shaft but
when he opened his eyes, Samantha was riding him instead.
Completely naked wearing nothing but a
smile, Sam was gripping the headboard and looking down on him with a lustily
smug expression on her face.
he slid his hands up her thighs and onto
her tight firm buttocks and as her plump breasts hovered above his face he
reached his lips up towards her dark pink nipples but as she was pumping on him
like a piston her tits jiggled uncontrollably and he couldn’t catch his target
so he had to abandon his efforts as she continued to ride him like a rodeo
cowgirl thrashing about and moaning like a wild beast before she screamed out
in orgasm and she collapsed on top of him.
“Was that just a “thank you” or are we back
together” he asked
“Both” she panted
“Good answer” he said
“I’ve missed you” Sam said and kissed his
neck
“I’ve missed you too” he replied and they
slept where they had come to rest.
