It was a few minutes
after seven when Jack White was handed the key for room 12 at the Lamb and Flag
and as the rather gruff receptionist returned to the bar a small figure entered
through the street door dripping wet from the heavy rain and stopped dead when
she caught sight of him.
“Jack White” she said
coldly, “What are you doing here?”
“I’m staying here” he
replied
“Oh great” she snapped
Neither of them were
happy to be there, and the only reason they were was because the heavy rain and
the resulting flooding had closed the railway, but more than that they were
unhappy because they didn’t like each other.
They took consolation
in their impromptu meeting and incarceration by overindulging at the bar and
with each subsequent drink they found that their companions began to look more
attractive and their companionship less onerous, so it was perhaps not
surprising that they ended up in her room.
It was a funny old
life, he thought, as he looked down at Suzy’s naked body as she wriggled like a
fish on the riverbank as he fucked her to that perfect point of climax, and
when they came together, and she screamed.
The next day, although
he was physically a spent force, his mind was awash with erotic images of his
time with Suzy Ford, or perhaps that should have been the times with Miss Ford.
So, on the way to the
station he called into the newsagents and picked up an energy drink to sustain
him on the journey home.
Although they walked
to the station together he and Suzy were getting separate trains as they lived
in opposite directions and once they had bought their tickets they both went
their separate ways with just a cheerio, as they had said a proper good bye
back at the hotel.
Although the station
was open, and trains were running there was a greatly reduced service due to
the previous day’s cancellations, which resulted in a rather lengthy wait on
the platform.
He noticed Suzy didn’t
have to wait long for her train and when she saw him she gave him a wave from
her carriage.
After what Suzy had
put him through, he knew the motion of the train would very quickly lull him
off into a coma, and he only lasted about ten minutes before the long blinks
set in, which quickly led to sleep.
