Choice Tales from the Vale – (434) Christmas Caring

Twenty-five-year-old George Williams was live in carer to his Grandma Dolly and had moved in during the Summer after she had her second heart attack, and he had put his personal life on hold.

But in the run up to Christmas he met the girl next door, Lily Heaton, a second year University student home for the holiday, and they had clicked immediately.

However, after a week they hadn’t managed any more than a kiss and a cuddle, which was really frustrating Lily, so she decided to move things along.

So, on Christmas Eve, Eve, she paid him a surprise visit.

George had just settled Grandma down for the night and returned downstairs to the kitchen to find Lily sitting on the arm of the sofa.

“What are you doing here?” he asked “I thought we weren’t getting together until tomorrow”

However, he got no reply and then what happened next took him completely by surprise as she stood up and kissed him and after a few moments she pushed him backwards onto the sofa and began unzipping his fly.

George pulled his mouth away from hers and said urgently

“We can’t do anything here”

“Why not?” she asked

“Because we’re not alone in the house”

“But you said your grandma was deaf and wouldn’t hear a jumbo jet if it landed in the street” she said using his own words against him.

“I did say that didn’t I?” he said “Carry on then”
